Tire Placards |
|
Tire Information Safety Rule - Effective September 1, 2005 Anyone that manufactures vehicles weighing less than 10,000 GVWR must use a tire placard as of September 1, 2005. We offer tire placards for non-motorized vehicles (trailers) and motorized vehicles. (Motorcycles do not require tire placards.) Vehicle dealers, both motorized and non-motorized are currently required to replace the tire placard if they replace the tires with a different size or add equipment that changes the vehicle's weight by more than .5%. |
