|
1) Enter your company's background information. |
From the Administration menu, open the: Company Information window,
VIN Code Set Up window, Plant List window and Preferences window. Enter your information in all the fields. FedCert Suite will use this information to calculate your VIN for you. |

2) Create a model. |
Go to the MODELS menu and set up a template for your model. Include any information that is standard for that particular model. Fields containing information that is not standard can be left blank. Be sure to select a label from the LABEL PART NUMBER field. This lets the software know which labels you will be using. (The minimum information required is the model name and the make.)

3) Create a vehicle. |
Open the VEHICLE window and select the NEW button. The model you've already created will appear in a menu near the top of the window. Select the model from the list. Any information you saved with the model template will automatically be filled in for your vehicle. Enter any additional information that you require. Hit the SAVE button and FedCert Suite will calculate your VIN for you.

4) Enter a customer. |
Add your customers using the CUSTOMER window. You can also import customer lists from other programs.

5) Record a sale. |
In the SALES window you can select a vehicle and a customer to record a sale.

6) Print your labels. |
Fill out your labels using the PRINT LABELS menu. From the drop down menu, choose the label according to part number. The vehicle you've created will appear in the window. Select the checkbox next to it and click on the PRINT LABELS button.
