I can't create a model. |
Before a model can be created the software must have the following information completed:
Company Information
Plants
Vin Code Setup (all attributes must have at least one code)
Preferences

How do I change the model year? |

Last year's models show up in my model drop down menu. |
Old models can be removed from the drop down menu by making them inactive. To inactivate a model, open it in the MODEL window and select the INACTIVE button at the top right hand side of the window.

Why doesn't the model year automatically change on all of the models when I put a new model year in the COMPANY window? |
There are 2 primary reasons why the model year doesn't automatically change on your models:
1) Early Warning Reporting requires manufacturers to keep historic data on models. This prevents us from just changing the year.
2) All model years do not necessarily change at the same time. A manufacturer could be building a 2006 trailer on one model line and a 2007 on another model line.
