How can I verify my WMI is correct?

In the Company Information Window located in the Administration Menu, your company's WMI is listed in the World Manufacturer's ID Field. When receiving your software or any upgrades, it is important to verify this before continuing to create vehicles.


How many computers can the software be installed on at one time?

The FedCert Suite Server must be installed on only one computer however the FedCert Suite can be installed on 5 networked computers at one time.


I do not have a manual or users guide?

Starting with the 2.0 Version, a printed copy of the Users Guide was not provided but is still included on the software disk along with a complete tutorial. The tutorial provides useful information as well as visual demonstrations.
The tutorial is also available online and can be assessed through the Tech Support Menu as well.
Users Guides can still be downloaded from our home page.

I receive a message asking if I want to download an update, what is this?

From time to time updates will be posted automatically on the internet to fix minor issues.
Select YES and download the update. A window should appear when the download is completed.


How do I move my program from one computer to another?


For Version 2.0, the Backup /Restore function provide a safe and easy way to move the database from one computer to another. For detailed steps, view the tutorial on Backup/Restore

Do Not Attempt To Uninstall Software without technical support.

Since data bases are very sensitive especially about being moved, please contact our Technical Support before attempting to move or uninstalling your current program. Attempting to uninstall the program, some additional programs could be over looked.


What are the User Define Fields for?

Five User Define Fields have been provided in the Vehicle, Customer and Sales Windows. These fields are for the Manufacture to store additional information of their own. Titles can be assigned to each field in the User Define Menu located in the Administration Menu.


Vin Calculation Report does not display the correct Check Digit or Model Year
On the Vin Calculation Report the 9th digit will not appear. Instead it refers to the "A Calculation" as mandated by the government.
Just as the 10th digit will read 5-2005, 6-2006 and not the current model year selected. This refers to and lets the government know that the software follows the coding as outlined and mandated in the governments "Table VI".
Note: Verify the Model Year that is selected in the Company Information window under the Administration Menu.


How is the Cargo Carrying Capacity calculated?

The software uses the GVWR - the Unloaded Weight of the Vehicle (or Shipping Weight) to calculate the Cargo Carrying Capacity on the Tire Placard / Tire Tread Labels.


Do I need a Cargo Carrying Capacity Label?

Motor Home and Travel Trailer Manufactures with a GVWR that is greater than 10,000 lbs are required to use a Cargo Carrying Capacity Label.
